Project Partners

Partnerships with news organizations across California are at the heart of what we do at the CHCF Center for Health Reporting.

In the center’s first three years, we partnered with more than five dozen newspapers, broadcast outlets and Web-only news sites – many of them multiple times.

These news organizations are our collaborators in producing in-depth reporting about health and health policy in California. But they do so much more than reporting, from shooting photos and preparing graphics to designing pages and mixing sound… not to mention disseminating the work to millions of Californians.

Their openness to partnering with a new kind of news organization has been the crucial ingredient that has allowed our reporting about health to gain a foothold in an ever-changing media world.
